It is now very unfortunate that ladies of this community now put on trousers openly and go wherever they like with it without any element of shame. It saddens the heart that this is happening to us. Our own mothers and aunts never wore trousers. We didnt know them with bad dressing. Unfortunately, many parents now count wearing of trousers by their female children to be a form of civilization despite the warnings of the Prophet, sollaLohu alaihi wasallam against it. Many of our men now go out with their wives and daughters in trousers without shame. This is one of the signs that shows that the world is gradually going towards the end time. The true meaning of civilization is acting in line with the provisions of the Quran and Sunnah. Any way of life that offends the shariah of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, sollaLohu alaihi wasallam is shameful, condemnable and abominable. Wearing of hijab for our women is wajib. Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah, sollaLohu ’alaihi wasallam cursed a man who puts on the dress of women, and a woman who puts on the dress of men. [Abu Dawud] The case of women dressing like men, exposing all the figures of their body to the public is rampant in our society. Some ladies have cultivated the habit of wearing jalabias that are specifically meant for men. They sew and wear mens styles, gowns with sensitive materials that reveals the traces of their underwears. This is shameful. In another relevant hadith, Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him said: The Messenger of Allah, sollaLohu alaihi waallam said, There are two types of people who will be punished in Hell and whom I have not seen: men having whips like the tails of cows and they will be beating people with them, and, women who will be dressed but appear to be naked, inviting to evil; and they themselves will be inclined to it. Their heads will appear like the humps of the Bactrian camel inclined to one side. They will not enter Jannah and they will not smell its fragrance which is perceptible from such and such a distance . [Muslim]. May Allah rectify our affairs.
