It is obviously a bittersweet week for me as I watch the excitement grow and the preparations being made for folks to head towards Asheville and GW/CF Week at the Swannanoa Gathering. Some are already enroute. A good number of you are aware that I will be missing this year, as I am still awaiting a heart transplant. However, I remain quite optimistic and hopeful that it will happen soon enough for me to recoup and rejoin you all with a renewed energy in 2015. I would have had classes with Stephen Bennett and Tim Thompson. So someone tell Stephen Hi! for me, Ill see Tim and his son Myles in September at Winfield. Hopefully a lot of you will gather at Sally Sparks place this coming Saturday evening. Last year was so fun. Ill miss seeing everyone there live, but I am planning a Facetime call sometime during the party to say hello and see some of you there.
