It is official. The Will Tuell for Maine Legislature page will soon become Representative Elect Will Tuell or something like that when I have had more than five minutes of shut-eye in the past 35 hours -- and can think clearly. I want to begin by saying that I am truly honored, blessed, and humbled to be surrounded by great people without whom none of this wouldve been possible. Bucket Davis. Tony Maker. Scott Porter. My mother (Jennifer Hooper Tuell) and father (Wayne Tuell), brother (Joe Tuell & wife Chasity) and my sister (Dorrie Mulligan and husband Scott). And to the many other family members (Uncle Bill Hooper, Aunt Brenda Wood, my paternal grandfather and maternal grandmother), thank you also! And I have to thank each of who helped out -- Dave Burns, Bob Simpson, Arthur Langley, Art & Jeanne Totman, Howard McFadden, Harold Cokayne, Barry Curtis (congrats on your win too, Barry!!!!) for helping, believing, spreading the word, and doing what youve done. A year ago when we started down this road, I believed. A few others did too. Most thought I was crazy. But I think over the past few months we proved the old adage -- WORK WORKS. I believe that is true of the campaign trail, and will only prove more so in Augusta. If I ever forget that, kick me to the curb and find someone else worthy of the title Representative, because really and truly,Downeast Maine deserves an active legislator who will do what needs to be done, period. Stay tuned gang, some big things are in store!!!!!
