It is officially now mine and my livers 3 year anniversary. HOLY CRAP. I cant even tell you how happy AND lucky I am. It was a tough battle from the start and just kept getting worse, but here I am strong as ever. Im FOREVER indebted to my donor family for their thoughtfulness and compassion for their donating their daughters liver. There are three WONDERFUL people I owe a lot to as well Kim Mickelson the best sister anyone could ask for, her continuous love and support is insurmountable and her being a pillar of strength, even through her own issues, makes her the best Zach Taylor, one of the best friends anyone could ever ask for. He has always been there for me when I needed help going somewhere when I first came home and the endless phone calls while I was recovering. He has made himself available for my checkup visits to Chicago and we always had a good time. Im lucky to have such a GREAT friend. He was also my liaison to my friends through Facebook. Colette Howard, she came to the hospital daily, I think, and always tried to make me smile ...she WOULDNT give me ice cream though!!! She kept Kim and Zach informed and was there for me Thank you EVERYONE for ALL your love, support and compassion as well, it truly has helped. Im HAPPY to announce my liver and I are doing well together, little disagreements once in a while but I guess thats what a relationship is all about....LOL HUGS TO ALL
