It is often said by radical muslims in Canada and elsewhere that they are angered by our culture and customs. Logic would suggest they could easily have researched our culture and customs and remained in that style of culture, however they have come to our shores and we welcome immigrants and diversity. How do we counter unbridled vocal insurrection in a society that puts such a value on freedom of speech? It is one thing to allow free speech but quite another to allow freedom of action. The banning of facial covering does not prevent freedom of speech but sends a clear message that will we not tolerate freedom of action that is inconsistent with our way of life. We can outlaw how people act and we should do so.
