It is one of the most perplexing whodunits facing the NYPD — the case of the slain black bear cub found in Central Park. The cub’s body was discovered Monday morning underneath a bush off of W. 69th St. and near West Drive, one of the park’s main interior loops. The animal had suffered lacerations, police said. And its body, about three feet in length, was positioned in a way that suggested the bear’s death was unnatural.
