It is over. I will never have a child cheer on the football field again or pack my bag with cameras, bottles of water or extra black footies. The days of poster parties at our house and making signs, shakers and all kinds of things for pep rallies is done. I carried black garbage bags full of squiggly balloons and shakers to over 15 pep rallies before my girls could drive, after they were driving I helped pack their cars with it all. I rejoiced with them at every victory and was broken hearted at every defeat. I have hundreds of pictures and countless hours of videos. I held my breath when they did their first back handspring on the gym floor and as they were thrown in the air. I can do almost every band dance the FP Band has played for the last 4 years lol. I have attended almost 40 pep rallies and that many games in the last 4 years and would not have missed a minute of it. I have loved watching every second. I love these kids and I am thankful for the friends my girls have made. Some of them have been together since 2 year old Mothers Day Out. I cannot wait to see what wonderful things they will accomplish. Now on to basketball season!!
