It is painful to be a liberal, a humanist in this part of the world (Middle East). Such a specie is caught between the idiotic nationalistic fever, the irrational emotional Palestinian saga, the religious Zealots of all kinds (Hezbollah, Daesh, Nosra, the Christian fanatics, the seemingly moderate Christians & Muslims who were incubated in a racist non tolerant and conservative environment, Orthodox Jews.....) and last but not least dynasties of bloody dictators.
