It is possible to live 24 hour days in 18 hours. Was at the border crossing by 7 am and by 7:15 we had a border agent telling us he wanted $1,000 for each vehicle and trailer. $2,000 Am. dollars to go directly to him, not to the bank. We said we would not pay that much-no supervisorer on duty. So, we took ourselves to the Cordova bridge downtown and the agents said, Unload both trailers. They had 2 helpers standing ready to help (If you tell people to unload, then you can provide 2 relatives, as helpers. Ha) So, we unloaded. The medical equipment was the entertainment of the am. Can you imagine how boring pickups, junkie bikes and old washers are everyday. So, they took the medical stuff out, using a cell phone took pictures, and then poked translation I am sure. It was so fun. Finally, we reloaded and went to km 13 Got the suburban legal and talked to a supervisorer of the St Theresa story. Dont know that he can do anything but pray this guy is brought down. He has a racket going and I am sure many Am pay him $1,000 to go thru. He is probably working on his Mex 401K, under a rock some place. So, we are in Cautemhoc and are ready to eat supper, take showers and crash. It has been raining alot here and duck feet would be a great help. If you had not prayed, we might be in jail with the Marine, so it was a good day! PS Only pd $700 at Cordoba Bridge-such a deal. And, we only lost 4 hours on this foolishness.
