It is sad to know that most people are not critical thinkers. If you look at people arguing, even on silly matters, they lean to their stances, even knowing they are mistakes, than to the logical explanation. When the one is talking, the other does not listen. Rather, s/he waits impatiently to get the chance to talk. Rather than understanding the logic of the other discussant, s/he is busy on constructing his/her own response. The objective of each discussant is to convince the other, or to say “አስገባሁለት”, rather than to get new perspective or information or knowledge. No wonder, our arguments of all sort are ጉንጭ አልፋ!
