It is settled law that the time fixed by the constitution for the doing of anything cannot be extended. It is immutable, fixed like the rock of Gibraltar. It cannot be extended, elongated, expanded, or stretched beyond what it states... in all a governor shall have a maximum of eight years. The tenure of four years can only be reckoned from “when the person is first elected” under the constitution... Marwa Vs. Nyako (Supreme Court Judgment). With the above in mind, especially considering the maximum years of 8 for holding office, will you say that Goodluck Jonathan is qualified to be President of Nigeria again from 2015 -2019?
