It is so difficult to be silent when others tear us down because we want to protect our reputation. Its tough to sit quietly by while they try and destroy something so precious to us. But I dont need to lash back in revenge or justify my position; we can trust God to protect our reputation. Jesus was silent before his accusers (Luke 23:9,10); he left his case in Gods hands (1Peter 2:21-24). That is exactly where we are leaving our case too!!!!! Psalm 38:13-14 Al and I continue to give thanks and praise to our Heavenly Father who allows us the privilege and blessing of helping incarcerated women transition into the community and be transformed by a renewed hope and mind in Christ! We strive to take our complaints and heartaches to Christ when we come under attack by the enemy. Our hope is found in Jesus and it is for this reason that we will continue to live and represent Him the best we can in all we do. He provides the strength we need and it is to Him we give all honor, glory and praise! Jesus says we are to love our enemies, and this can only be done through the power of the Holy Spirt. It can certainly not be done by self. I draw from Christ to put forgiveness in my heart and to love my enemies in hopes that we can overcome evil with good! Have a beautiful day in Jesus!
