It is so fascinating that folks still use that dreadful King James Bible. Language changes from generation to generation. Take the Bible for example: a collection of ancient books originally written in Ancient Hebrew (BC) and in Koinon Greek (AD). In order to convey the meaning of these ancient texts, translators in their time period and language, have had to do mind-numbing textual analysis of the Hebrew and Greek original. Then, upon understanding it as well as they can, attempt to find the CLOSEST expression in their contemporary language; then write it down as a translation. What was culturally accessible to16th Century English mind, is therefore DEFINITELY not accessible to 21st Century English Speakers in a world that has changed so much in 500yrs - there is a whole New World! Folks! Keep in mind that the Christian Scriptures (Bible) were NOT written in English!!! :D
