It is so sad that no one in government has deemed it fit to discuss the outstanding issue of the clauses of The Amalgamation a Treaty that requires that at the 100 year expiry of the treaty, the constituent parties - the Colony of Lagos, the Southern and Northern Protectorates must come together to determine the future of the Union. Britain has a responsibility here to complete what she started. A referee does not abandon a heavy weight match without conclusion. As the way things are there is so much distrust, injustice and inherited internal colonization going on. We will need the help of independent arbiters to help us know the truth of what the people of the Colony of Lagos, the Northern & Southern Protectorates want for themselves and for the Union. Lets be honest and realistic for once. Let politicians sit down and let We The People.... Speak for once.
