It is so worrisome when we hear a section of Nigerians threatening fire and brimstone if mr A or B looses the forthcoming elections. These threats are uncalled for. What if Nigerians decide to give their votes to Mr. C not Mr A or B. When has the presidency become a birthright or an exclusive right of a particular region? All those threatening war should be reminded that no particular individual has monopoly of violence and no individual ambition is worth the blood of a single soul. Whoever emerges on Feb. 14 as the winner should be seen as the product of the voices and choices of Nigerians. I am an advocate of a violence free polls. We are tired of spilling human blood in this country. Enough of these threats and let us shame those who have negative predictions about this God-given nation.
