It is socially illegal for mainly white people to use the word Nigga. Maybe its because of our past history for using this word to objectify one specific race - Black people. You could say they lost the privilege or not. Im not one to put labels on such things but I find myself feeling uncomfortable when a white person says this word, perhaps its because they have been denied to use the word for so long. Maybe we should no longer use it as it causes tension and confusion among others. Personally I feel hip-hop has glorified the word and made it fashionable. Any thoughts?
