It is still painfully obvious that people have no idea what Flanagans Farm is about. All animals here - no matter how they arrived - will be cared for as my own. As all true animal people know animals are an expense and as such a responsibility. I do not intend to rely on donations as many Shelters do. I am not a shelter. I moved here with the aim to start a business that would support the animals and myself. Unfortunately it has taken longer to establish than I wanted .. I never give up and the support of like minded people is welcome. People that would do just as I do but have not the opportunity. I personally go without ... haircuts , clothes , makeup, car repairs... personal stuff .... the plan to make money from the animals so they support themselves ...... But as I said any help is welcome when unforseen problems/expenses arise
