It is such a joy to watch the snow falling in Santa Fe today. It is just so beautiful! While I sit and watch the snow falling and blanketing the earth with great beauty and moisture I find myself in deep reflection. For there is an ongoing conversation I have been having with myself and also with some other friends over email. There are different paradoxes we get to dance in life. On one level we chose to be born into a body and we have a personality and ego. On a spiritual level we are divine light. We are all one and there is no separation between us, other life, and Source. Yet we do have a personality and ego, and we experience a variety of challenges in life that help to sculpt us into the beings we are now and who we will continue to grow into. We get triggered and feel hurt by the actions of some people and by events that happen to us and also events in the world. We are all evolving. Life is about growth and evolution. That is why we are here. I think what is important is for us to always continue with our personal healing process so that we do not deny what we are being asked to look at and work through. And as we know any living being that stops growing dies. At the same time it is important to hold in our hearts and in our intention as we do our personal work that we are connected to the web of life. And we must not lose sight or lose our focus on holding the earth and all of life in our hearts as we also focus on our own healing. For I do believe it is our destiny to be positive changemakers. We must remember as we focus on our personal lives to also focus on being in service to the earth and all of life.
