It is such a treat to leave town for a while, to visit another city, the countryside, another state, or perhaps even another country. It gives the individual and a couple the opportunity to dress up a little more, eat out a little more at a little fancier place, exercise ones manners that are sometimes not put to full use in daily living....to interact in a friendly, positive manner with other individuals who are traveling, to gain a new perspective on life and why we live the way and work as hard as we do. Of course there is shopping, people watching, simply ingesting the fresh air of new surroundings for a couple of days. Plan a lttle getaway either before, during or after the holiday season. Practice your manners, be mature, carry yourself well and enjoy! As was well-stated one time.....For we are given all things to richly enjoy. Let us not pass the opportunity up too often.
