It is that time again. The lights is on in the early morning hours, you overdose on caffeine and mash your brain with different terms including: top class words, synonyms, antonyms, biology terminology and mathematical equations. You cover each single open dot on your wall with diagrams of the neuron, blood flow, the human body, plot lines, character sketches and words with their meanings. You dry up every writing tool you own and fill notebooks with summaries. Yes, exam time. The most terrifying time in any students life. You form white lies in your head, by telling yourself "it is not so much work, if I start tomorrow ill get finished." Tomorrow comes and goes, and the books are still closed. You have absolutely no idea what plant hormones are or what the symbolic meaning behind the title from that story is. You did not even read the first page. You keep on telling yourself that it will be fine and you will pass with flying colours, but secretly you are completely aware that this will not end good. You stres and form acne all over. The night before the big day has arrived and you will suffer. You fill the kettle, takes ons last breath and start cramming. Only a few hours left and you rest assure yourself that you will get done. You wake up drooling on pages, pen marks everywhere and still on page one. You realised cramming is not for you and you passed out along the lines, literally and figuratively. The cup of coffee still half full and it is ice cold. You take a breath, remake the coffee, wash your face and get dressed. You will have to write this one on pure general knowledge. "You may start now." You place the pen down on the page and wait for the answers to peacefully appear in your head. Nothing. You skip a few questions and answers these that you can. "Pens down, the time has expired. " 5 pages of the folio, and only one used. You glance around the room, seeing that some people is not just handing in a folio or two, but a full 900 page book. The numbness rushes through you and you feel like dieing. You completed at most maybe 5 questions.
