It is the high time the kenyan government fixed the minimum age limit for heavy commercial vehicles and matatu drivers to be 40yrs. This is because most young people are irresponsible and careless leading to increased road carnage. Let the government also starts schools for training boda body riders to make them more secure . For us passengers let us be disciplined and be the first inspectors of drivers before the traffic police take charge. Our police are doing a good job but they cannot be everywhere and drivers behave well when they approach them. For instance why do you allow a driver to overspeed or even board a matatu that is full? It is unfortunate to wait for an accident to happen and then starts saying I saw it coming. You have a right to live. Why do do allow a person to terminate your life prematurely? Let us use hotlines and stop blaming our government for nothing.
