It is time that Jewish Americans recognize that their ethnic, spiritual and cultural identity has been stolen by war criminals to burn schoolchildren alive as they sit in their classrooms. s I Jew, I abhor what is being done in the name of my ethnic category. Nothing I have ever read in the Torah, nothing my has father ever taught me, nothing my observant immigrant grandparents would have ever accepted is being represented by the present, militarist state of Israel. The IDF is clearly guilty of war crime according to this Amnesty Report; in the fog of political spin and propaganda and hyperbolic accusations, Amnesty is by the odds the source I realy on. I know Amnesty and have been a paying member for over 35 years. Ive also worked for the London office of Amnesty on two occasions; the latter producing a fundraiser comic for them illustrating human rights cases. Isreal needs to bring charges against its officers and politicians that authorised the deliberate targeting and massacre of Palestinian civilians, Arab women and children in Gaza. Until then Israel cannot even call itself a moral state, much less a democratic one. Im sorry I long ago have had more than enough of listening to murderers wearing their stars as distractions from their crimes.
