It is true that media didnt cover the suffering of palestine as it was required, and its also true that they have already started covering the issue of Syria giving it an Islamic hue. But should that stop us from extending our support to the christians of Syria who are facing a similar problem as faced by muslims of palestine? We have so long protested saying, You dont have to be a muslim to support palestine, you just have to be a human which is true. But should we not be shoutin the same slogan for the christians of syria? Killing any innocent is killing all of humanity, says the Quran, should this verse not compel us to stand in solidarity with our brother and sisters in Syria? Regardless of his ethnicity, religious and cultural background any jew, christian, hindu getting killed anywhere should grieve us and should compel us to extend an unequivocal support to them. The aggression of ISIS should be condemned and its our responsibility to let the world know that ISIS is a terrorist organisation and has nothing to do with Islam.
