It is truly heartbreaking to watch the unfolding of events in the Middle East. People have given up. Yes, they lower their heads from sadness for a moment, until they remember the crisis in their own country and quickly turn the other cheek. Each Arab country is worried about their own kind. We should not think this way. We have been brainwashed into exhibiting this false sense of patriotism towards our own countries. We were once all one before “They” split us up. Let us break these boundaries once and for all and earn the right to call ourselves one Ummah.
