It is unbelievable how much noise Leon (our guinea pig) makes after the kids go to bed... He might run around some and squeak a little throughout the day, but after the kids go to bed and I start working (writing/reading/studying) the little rodent goes on a nut!!! Right now he is eating a piece of hay, and I am not even kidding it is so loud!! A few minutes ago he was running back and forth over the canvas ramp in his cage, which makes this irritating scratchy noise... And before that he was repeatedly jumping up and turning 180 then letting out a series of loud squeaks before attacking his food bowl (which is hooked to his cage, and he has figured out that by pulling on it and picking it up a little he can make a huge racket)...
