It is unfortunate that the Martin family may never get criminal justice for the wrongful death of Trayvon. I am really not surprise at the outcome of this trail because I always thought that murder II would be hard to prove. I am by far no legal expert but from what I understand the prosecution would have to prove that Zimmerman intended on only hurting that kid but death occurred in the process. I have wondered why he wasn’t charged with manslaughter instead of murder II. The prosecution would just have to prove that the death was an accident that resulted from an act of negligence or carelessness. Zimmerman would probably do time for it, not like if it were a murder II conviction but some jail time is better than zero jail time.
