It is unfortunate that we always have to live through experiences like this to realize what REALLY matters in life. Our meditation and ongoing attempt should be to maintain awareness on a daily basis. Smile every day, say thank you, I love you, I miss you, call for no reason, visit for no reason, skip the gym one time to visit a sick friend or family member or a stranger for that matter, STOP texting ...PICK UP the phone and say what is i your heart. It is the simple things and details that mean the most. and dont expect to get anything in return. My prayers are with the families of those who lost loved ones in 9/11
