It is very sad that the evil has taken its turn on my home town - TopicsExpress

It is very sad that the evil has taken its turn on my home town Machilipatnam. I am numbed to express any feelings after knowing Anuhyas death. A daughter of Machilipatnam employed at TCS in Mumbai returned to her work place after completion of christmas holidays and went missing for many days in Mumbai. Finally she returned home as a dead body in highly decomposing state. It came as major embarrassment to Machilipatnam people, whole town was thrown into deep mourn and insecurity zone. The town has no words to console the family members of Anuhya. The postmortem reports were sent to forensic analysis and the cause of death yet to know officially. I believe that, whatever may be the immediate cause to the death of our sister Anuhya, the root cause is always social evil. The degraded values in society are taking its cost on the valuable lives of our women and children. Now, this social degradedness has reached every corner of our society posing a great threat to peaceful life of people. It is bitter fact that we can not curtail this evil all of a sudden, the erosion of social values has done over a period of time that was dominated by materialistic promotions and till today we are on same track. It will definitely take much time to indoctrinate moral values into our society, also it is possible only when everyone of us pays attention to it. All we are demanding today is a stringent punishments for this kind crimes, but what we should realize is, the justice never come to victim with post incident mechanisms, the real justice lies in prevention of crime.Stringent punishments are very much required to mitigate the problem, but punishments can help very little in stopping the evil further. The real solution for this evil not lies in courts, police stations and stringent charters. But, the solution lies in our home, the way how our children patronage human values today will decide the crime rate of tomorrow. I do not know anything better solution more than this. Anuhya, we miss u forever, may your family members recover soon.
