It is weird. Some of us think that if government worked as it should, then we could bring the cronies under control and everyone will become happy. We actually experienced some of that from the 1950 until the 1980s, so there is some factual experience to draw upon. Some others think that if we remove government, then the cronies wont have anyone to prop them up anymore, so we need to end government. This has never been tested in real life, but we seem to be moving to less and less government interference these days, and as we do, the economy and the environment are both suffering. Either scenario is based on ideology. I tend to go with having government protect the People from the cronies, personally, yet it is still an ideology, that is removed from the reality of the current situation. The reality of the situation is that we have super-rich people that influence our government to do things that arent good for the People. The government isnt protecting us enough now, although it should. As long as the cronies are in control, the government wont work for us. How do we find common ground - amongst the proverbial 99% (which includes people on the left and right)? We ALL need to take back our government...not with arms, because well never win against the US military...but, with the vote and with our dollars. Sorry to blather. Karl
