It is widely viewed amongst blacks and liberals that any opposition to president Obamas policies are motivated my racism. Yesterday we saw where Oprah received the presidential medal of freedom after accusing Americans (who helped to make her rich) of racism towards Obama, because they dont agree with his policies. I have Democrat friends who are saying that the Obamacare disaster is sabotage (in the face of all the facts around us) by white folks who dont want this historic law achieved by a black man to succeed. I must admit that it would be willful ignorance to say that racism dont exist, however, white folks voted for Obama in historic numbers. And for those of us who are black and opposes Obamas policies, but refuse to speak up, is not helping to dispel the notion that the president failings are as a result of liberal policies and maladministration. In the book of Jude verse 3, the scripture tells us to ...contend for the faith that once for all entrusted to the saints. And there is no separation of faith and politics for the Christian. Our faith determines our politics, and our politics will ultimately determine if we can practice our faith.
