It is with a heavy heart I share this news to those of you that know me and my dear friend and room mate of 7 years Jane Young...Yesterday she passed peacefully in her sleep after a heroic battle with 4th stage throat cancer. It was a long and emotionally difficult and physically painful road Jane endured. During which time she showed much courage, strength and grace! As hard as it is to know she is gone, that we wont sit on the couch and laugh till we cry, nor will I ever eat one of her wonderful meals (she was an awesome cook)...I gather peace and comfort knowing that this was her time to go, and she is know longer suffering. I also know that people come into our lives for a reason and a season! By Gods Divine Appointment! I have been blessed to have been a friend of Janes through many good times, but also blessed to have stood beside her through this difficult past two years that Jane endured and truly battled to live! Jane much like my other dear friend Jessie Blumenfeld could not say these three simple words: I Love You! Whenever I told my dear friend Jessie I love you, she would respond: Likewise Im sure! And I would get a big smile in my heart because I knew that meant Jessie loved me too! Jane throughout our friendship also grew quite fond of Jessie enjoying her company, and she adopted Jessies saying: Likewise Im sure! Last Saturday was the last day Jane was still able to speak😥...And the very last exchange Jane and I shared: I said to Jane I love you! She looked and smiled and said to me likewise Im sure! I truly loved my dear friend Jane and while I will miss her I have peace knowing we were the best of friends until her passing day! And now she is forever free🙏🌈❤️
