It is with a heavy heart Im writing this,,,, im asking for thoughts and prayers for my mom. She is very Ill and frankly, we really dont know what to do. The hospital kept her a couple of days and then sent her home, they wouldnt listen to us regarding her depression. Ive been too sick to get over there, but she had declined quite rapidly, shes ashamed, doesnt want to be a burden on anyone, depressed and crying a lot, lethargic and unable to perform any ADLs. Her insurance will pay for a nursing home, but not any kind of physical therapy. I thought it may be her pain patches causing problems, Antonio says she is acting like he acted when he had CHF. The great Ponca City doctor, basically told her she was dying. Im beside myself, not knowing what to do. And I think if any of yall want to see her, seeing her as soon as possible may be a good idea.
