It is with a heavy heart that I pack my bags to have my last day cycling in Slovenia. After crossing the Alps, did I mention id got through the Alps! :) and reaching the stunning Slovenia on what I think was by pure chance, the prettiest route possible after crossing the Wurzen pass, my spirits lifted to an all time high. And how could it not! Along with simply stunning scenery, the people in Slovenia are truly lovely. So friendly and helpful and they seem also to be blessed with incredible genes, stunning bone structure and are simple gorgeous. So after a wonderful 2 nights in a hostel in Ljubljana, where I was supposed to recharge my batteries but think I ended up burning more energy than when cycling all day, due to all the socialising with more wonderful travellers. Yesterday I changed my money for Croatian kuna and today I head south east towards Kocevje and then the border. Mental note, I must fill my bags with food as its easter and Im sure the shops will be closed
