It is with a heavy heart that I say Chulo DeNisco is in doggie heaven:( Thanks for all the love:)) I appreciate it. Chulo was born on July 16, 2003. I went to look at puppies with my cousins Danny & Jackie. I remember my cousin saying, dont just want out with one. Well.. It was love at first sight. He had an identical brother and with my decision making skills, I thought--oh great!! He made it easy.. He came right over with the little white sock on his right paw. He weighed 2.4. I surprised Colleen with my new baby and stopped at Tinas to show my dad his new grandson. When he was a puppy- he loved to chew on things, mark his territory, was never shy on barks! He has been a cuddler his whole life (If you were one of the ones he would go near!!). We named every one of his toys monkey after one of his first favorites. He loved peanut butter and whipped cream!! He loved to play with his rope and take walks when he was younger. I can remember his first bath, car ride, when he was neutered and came out with a cone! He liked car rides but mostly was a lap dog and cuddler. He would stand with his bull legged body and head tilted and give the cutest looks. He loved to sniff and just be near me and people. His nails were always long cause he wouldnt let most touch them! Dr. Tillou had the magic touch and I am grateful for his care. Chulo just wanted to be part of the action. He loved kids and instantly gravitated toward Dante & Lucia. He would tip toe and hide if he was in trouble:) He loved his treats and sunlight. He could find any sliver and have his sleepy eyes & be happy. I think it was fate for Chu and I to be together. He had lots of love in his life. When I was flitting around on a trip or overnight he would mostly stay with Ricky and Renee. He loved them both!! He loved my cousins, sister, friends and family. I am totally grateful to you all for all of the help, especially when he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Chulo means cutie in Spanish and that he was. He survived 3 apartments, one house, a condo & all of my life changes during those times. I will miss the pitter patter of him, his head on my pillow, his sniffs and his little face waiting for me at my curtain. I never grew up with dogs. On a whim, I adopted Chulo & it was the best thing I did. I didnt want to watch him suffer so today we said goodbye. He was a trooper over the past 15 months and beat the odds. Chulo, I love you so much and thanks for being my best buddy for 11 years. RIP mi amor:)
