It is with a heavy heart that I write this post. My father, Jim Scanlan, passed away yesterday, August 1st, with family around him. God allowed him to pass from pain and suffering into his loving arms, and as much as this saddens us, he is finally at peace. My dad was a strong, faith filled man, a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and more, and a good friend. He loved laughter, family, Christmas, and telling stories. And so much more! Dads life was a gift to many, a blessing from God to the world. We are consoled by the knowledge that he now can be with Jesus and rest in peace. I know he met God and heard the familiar words, Well done, my good and faithful servant. May Dads soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy, of God rest in peace. Love you Daddy!!!!!
