It is with a heavy heart that we announce we will be CLOSING Hometown Market after five years of serving the Buckhannon community. Our last day open will be Thursday August 28. We will be having a yard sale tomorrow and Saturday with great deals to be had on many items! We have been working with AF Wendlings this week and we are excited to announce they will begin carrying all the gluten free items we sell and also farm fresh eggs in their retail store in Tennerton starting in September. We want to personally thank Chris and Charity Wendling and the Wendlings family for agreeing to help fill the niche of gluten free products to help those with dietary issues and supporting local farmers with farm fresh egg sales! AF Wendlings is a great local business that has been around for 101 years and since we are about keeping it local, we a thrilled they have agreed to take on the gluten free items to continue serving the community after we have closed. We want to thank each and every patron who has blessed us over the past five years. This decision was one of the most difficult ones we have ever made and we encourage all of you to SHOP LOCALLY so more great small businesses in Buckhannon dont continue to disappear. Thanks again for your understanding and support over the past five years. It has been a great time and one we will hold close to our hearts and never forget.
