It is with a heavy heart that we must make this announcement. Unfortunately, as fate would hold, we have made the decision to halt production and operation of WAKE. Due to many contributing factors, both personally and professionally, it is not feasible to continue with this publication at this point in time. We want to profusely thank everybody who helped make the first issue happen, and extend that gratitude to the few who submitted work for the March issue. It was a fantastic experience being able to put something together and see the contributors work on the page the way it was envisioned. It will always be considered a wild success as a first go-round, and the first issue will be held onto dearly. For those who got that first issue, congrats! You now have a very rare copy of a publication that holds within those pages, an incredible amount of hard work and passion. Sadly, this was a reality that had to be faced and the difficult decision has been made. We hope you continue your incredible support for new and exciting ventures throughout the city, as there are many to be found!
