It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Eli tonight! He is owned by April Diehm her very first horse that was saved by Sue Murphy from the kill lot and donated to April as she grew fond of him while he was here for QT. He came here to us a 1 on the body score, emaciated, we rehabbed him and April has spent much time with him, he was her surprise birthday gift. He is experiencing impaction as I write this, the Vet has been out twice, they have one all they can do, they are here now to lay him to rest, very heart breaking, Tom and Liz are out in the barn with them right now along with April and the attending Vet. He has a wonderful last year filled with kindness and love, may God Bless him and all of the forgotten animals, he was loved to his last day, never to be unwanted again
