It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved English Bulldog, Rudy. He was already gone when I came home tonight. I knew he was gone. He is usually up and about when I get home. He would jump around like a Tasmanian devil. He died in his sleep while laying on one of his favorite blankets. Everyone says that I rescued him when it was the other way around. His unconditional love and gratitude taught me volumes .I think I will wait a bit before I adopt another dog. But if anyone out there is thinking about getting a dog, adopt a rescue. They will forever be grateful. Im leaving his blankets, doggie beds and toys where they were. Ill have to pick them up wash them, maybe donate them. Like in any grieving process, you go on and you move on, but you never forget.
