It is with great enthusiasm that we write to you about the tremendous favor House of God Worship Center has received from God over the last few years. Eight years ago we humbly opened our doors in a local community center, which we were quickly blessed to grow out of. Not shortly after we were afforded the opportunity to purchase our own building in Hampton, Virginia; were we have continued to grow in ministry. God has now blessed us with a much larger facility, located at 7400 Warwick Boulevard, in Newport News. “The Wick” as we affectionately refer to it, will be our new church home. Additionally, this building will be home to First Lady Lisa Rodgers Nonprofit Organization, Empowered to Change. The concept of Empowered to Change is providing people in need with access to the needed resources and empowering them to change their lives. “The Wick” will allow us to fully incorporate these needed community service programs and other ministerial programs for those living in the Hampton Roads and surrounding areas. Many of you have received our save the date cards inviting you to this historic event; this letter is to solicit your additional support. Some of you have already sown into our ministry and for that we are truly thankful. To fully bring 7400 Warwick Boulevard to a reality, we are asking everyone who can and will to sow a $74.00 seed at our “7 Years of Plenty” Groundbreaking service. This event will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2014, 5:00pm at the Hampton Roads Convention Center, located at 1610 Coliseum Dr. Hampton, Virginia 23666. Your generous seed will allow us to move forward with the vision God has given us. House of God Worship Center relies on the support of generous donors such as you. Your seed will help ensure we bring our vision to pass. We are set to take the Hampton Roads and Surrounding Areas by storm and you can be a part of this great and exciting movement by making your donation.
