It is with great excitement that we announce that Things of My Very Own, Inc. has received a $77,000 grant from the Edward D. Cammarota Foundation. The funds will be used to provide crisis intervention services to children in Schenectady County who have been impacted by extensive abuse or neglect and those in at-risk situations. Those of you who have benefited from our services already know how vital they are to our community. Sandy Hutchinson, President of the Foundation Board described Mr. Cammarota: Edward had a tough exterior but he was a softie. He had a great sense of humor. Ed firmly believed that education was the key to his success. He loved children and wanted to give those who desired to go to college an opportunity to do so.
