It is with great pleasure that we wish to announce that CrossFit Cambridgeshire, LiftOff CrossFit and High Performance Programming will be hosting a two day seminar with Max El Hadge on the 14-15 of february 2015. This is a great opportunity for all coaches and athletes to learn. Max El-Hag from Training Think Tank (TTT) will be traveling to Crossfit CrossFit Cambridgeshire here is an overview of the seminar structure. Day 1 - Athlete Camp The athlete camp will be a combination of training, competing, and educating. The focus of the camps workout structure is to create workouts that give insight into peoples training needs to improve in the Sport of Fitness (TM). We will sit down for discussion before and after each workout where you will get feedback, insight into the limitations of the workout, ideas on how to train to improve performance in similar workouts, and specific comments on individuals from the TTT coaches. As well as the educational component, you will also have the opportunity to compete side by side with other athletes attending the camp and highlight your physical talents. Day 2 - Coaches Seminar The second day seminar is structured as a lecture only and will help both athlete and coach understand the complexities of structuring training programs. This 1-day seminar will give you a clear perspective into your overall training layout that will change the way you view your daily exercise prescription. The Primary Discussion Topics of the Seminar will be: 1. What exercise physiology do I believe you NEED to know to be an effective coach 2. Structuring your met-cons — How to Determine What Dose Response Your Athletes are Getting — How to Prescribe Met-Cons — Do Different Athletes Get the Same Response On Workouts You Write for Group Training? — How To Do Energy System Training With Mixed Modalities — Proper Progressions to Target Weaknesses — What is Peaking? — Sample Workouts With Different Responses Additional Topics (Time Permitting): 3. Are Your Strength Protocols Effective? 4. How to Create Training Cycles 5. Yearly or Multi-year Planning 6. Question/Answer About TTT Max started TTT to create a coaching network providing high level designs to athletes around the world, and to ensure that training protocols are continually developed, tested, upgraded, and refined. Max has coached, consulted, tested, and programmed over 25 games level athletes. Prior to opening TTT, Max was the assistant director of training at OPT under James Fitzgerald. He was instrumental in coaching, course curriculum/development, and delivery of athlete camps.
