It is with great regret that I have to report that after Starting at Genesis 1:1 in my Expositors Study Bible, I have come to the end of II Kings Chapter 11 with the Death of King Solomon (who unfortunately died lost after beginning so gloriously and stupendously). Having studied the Old Testament with a fine-toothed comb with two Bible College courses, I know what the rest of the first third of the OT holds. It is mostly down-hill from here on out. It will be a difficult read indeed through I Chron., II Chron., Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther, but Im going to do it and keep going on after that, Lord willing! :-)
