It is with great sadness and regret that I must announce the passing of Leon Geyser, an ardent theatre lover, and a loyal KickstArt supporter. Leon was one of the few Durbanites who saw absolutely everything that was presented on local stages, and actively encouraged his non-theatre literate friends and family to come along and give it a whirl. He was generous, kind, funny, and sincere. We will miss him very much, but will never forget him. If there were another hundred like him in this city, live theatre would have no problem flourishing. Our hearts go out to his son and daughter, and his grand children.
