It is with great sadness & regret I have to inform you of the passing of a true friend of mine Kevin Woolnough who lost his fight after a long illness. Kevin would have been just 52 in July...... Kevin was an absolute legend & it was a pleasure to have been an accquatence of his, the world would b a far better place if there was more Kevins about. I first met Kevin many years back in the football circle then again in 2006 when he played football against the team I managed, FC Tolworth, & I had no hesitation in poaching him from that team to play for us & he never looked back, never let me down & fittingly was awarded with the Players Player of the Year two years ago at the grand age of 49!Kevin retired from playing Competitive Footie with us but continued playing Vets Footie with Grafton FC up until just a few weeks back wen his illness started to affect him, finally taking its toll this morning. Last October Kevin & wife Janine renewed their wedding vows & my wife Janice & I were privileged to attend the ceremony up in Epsom & our thoughts are now with Janine & Kevins families as they come to terms with the loss of a great man who will be sadly missed by myself & many others.
