It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved founder, family member and friend, Vernon Jones. Mr. Jones passed away June 15th with his family by his side. For over 50 years, Mr. Jones has been selling cars in Harford County. In the early 1960s, he purchased the business from his father and moved it from North Carolina to Bel Air, Maryland. Starting out as Jones Plymouth, he had a vision which now includes 6 dealerships with 10 different franchises known as Jones Junction. His passion for the automobile business and a strong community bond has enabled him to become a staple in the Harford County area where today his business donates to over 20 local schools and charities. Mr. Jones was 88. Viewing and memorial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th from 4:00 to 8:00 at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Service will be held on Thursday, June 19th at 10:00am at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
