It is with heavy heart that we learn the death of Ohio Wing Vice-Commander, Major Wendell Meade who passed away this afternoon. A former Army veteran and retired Ohio Sheriffs Department commander, Major Meade was a friend and great supporter of the Flying Mustangs, participating directly in our cadet and personnel promotions and being the cheering section for us at high-level CAP meetings. He will be missed. Our deepest sympathies and condolences to his family.
