It is with much sadness that the club wish to announce that director Ashley Wragg has tendered his resignation from the board of directors and as member of the Academy committee. Ashley first got involved at board level some five years ago when the club was facing its darkest hour following the surfacing of the financial problems within the club. At the time Ashley had no hesitation in opting to help the club work its way through the monumental issues that it faced at that time and he was very much to the fore when it came to representing the club in numerous meetings with the IFA, CVA related matters and the eventual forced ground sale as the club fought to secure its very existence. Ashley has also been the main person in relation to club licensing which is essential for the club to continue to play its football within the Northern Ireland Football league over the last number of years and his departure leaves a large gap to be filled in that capacity. Ash feels at this time he has contributed as much as he can to the club over the last five years although he is intending to continue to attend games so he certainly wont be a stranger around the club. On behalf of everyone at the club we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Ashley for all his hard work around the club over the last five years, work which was vital in ensuring the ongoing existence and stability of the club.
