It is with profound sadness that I heard the news of Robin Williams suicide. He had a huge impact on my comedic sensibilities early on. I have a collection of thoughts and feelings from this tragedy. First of which, I was always attracted to his quick wit and his inherent darkness. I know he struggled his whole life with substance and depression issues, of which a big part of his stand up was based on. In the end his demons caught up to him. Very sad. His darkness and struggles brought smiles and happiness to millions. Wether you enjoyed him as a stand up comedian, an actor, or an artist, celebrate his life and his incredible legacy. This page is an indirect result of his work. Secondly, lets take time to look out and care for those of us that suffer from depression. There are so many questions and regrets that will come from his final action, lets not squander the opportunity to save somebody from this sad result. Please seek help if you suffer from depression and are headed down this road. Thank you Mr. Williams and my condolences to your friends and family all over the world.
