It is with the heaviest heart that we share the passing of Dr. Michael B. Preston. He passed early this morning surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Dr. Preston was a trailblazer in Political Science, a leader, and one who worked tirelessly to raise up the next generation of scholars and better the world that we live in. For so many of us he was our mentor, our guide…a father. He was loved deeply. The world will miss his brilliance, his wit, his humor, his warm spirit and the love and care he gave so generously. We will be sure to share funeral arrangements once they have been made. We ask that you lift up his family in prayer. Bo Ricks
